Coffee scrub: It might be not known but coffee scrub can help to get rid of the dead skin cells and get softer and glowing skin. As coffee is of uncouth texture, it exfoliates the skin and reduces the cellulite. To make the scrub quarter cup of ground coffee, an equal quantity of sugar, two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and three vitamin E capsules are required. Mix all the ingredients to make a paste. Sea salt or coconut oil can be mixed too. Then gently scrub the body for 15 minutes and use lukewarm water to wash off.
Sugar and almond oil scrub : This is a basic scrub that can help to get a really soft skin. The sugar is a great scrubbing agent and almond oil has many beneficial factors like it can prevent the skin from UV ray damage.
Almond oil is light and can easily be absorbed into the skin and take out the dirt from deep follicles. A half cup of sugar and 3 to 4 tablespoons of almond oil should be mixed and applied on the skin for few minutes before rinsing off.
Lemon and honey scrub: These two ingredients are commonly found in every household. The honey and lemon scrub can not only be used as a body scrub but it also helps to get rid of the tan. Three to four tablespoons of honey and an equal quantity of lemon juice should be mixed then applied all over the body and massage for a minute or two.
Lemon and sugar body scrub: Another easily available ingredients present in the kitchen is sugar. The lemon and sugar are very easy to make and it helps to get rid of all the rough skin present in our body. To make the scrub one cup of granulated sugar and one teaspoon of lemon juice should be mixed with 6 tablespoons of olive oil or sweet almond oil. First, wash the body with water then apply the scrub and gently massage for few minutes. After that wash off and pat dry. For people, who have dry skin; can use a moisturizer to lock in the moisture of the skin. An immediate result can be visible, within a very short period of time, after applying this scrub.
Oatmeal and brown sugar scrub: Oatmeal is a good substitute for coffee for scrubbing. People who tend to have sensitive skin should opt for an oatmeal scrub. Four table spoon of olive oil, half cup of brown sugar, half cup of oatmeal and few drops of any essential oil can be mixed and applied to the body. The oatmeal helps to absorb the excess body oil, the brown sugar helps in exfoliating and the olive oil provides moisture to the skin.
